I heard her voice today it's still ringing in my ears
who cares what she said
it's just the thought that she was standing oh so near

despite the fact

she caught me staring in the hall today
just shook her head as I smiled and waved
finally I think she noticed me

she dropped her books so I dove down
on the ground to pick them up

last night was the twelve time that I wrote this note

then after class that day she grabbed my hand

now four years have gone by
and she is still here by my side
and last night unconsiously she said I love you in her sleep
